四十周年前言
历史最悠久的海报竞赛 — 波兰华沙国际海报双年展，到2006年已经走过了40周年，华沙市邀请全球所有设计师、艺术家、学生及设计爱好者，选送2004年至2005年间创作的海报作品，为庆祝波兰华沙国际海报双年展诞生40周年。

参赛分类：
A - 主题海报，题材：人, 文明, 相关于社会问题以及政治、人文相关的主题;
B - 文化海报，文化、艺术、教育和体育事业;
C - 商业海报，商业广告设计;
D - Debut, 限艺术学院学生或二年之内毕业的毕业生参加。
参赛细则：
1. The 19th IPB will exhibit works of individual artists, art studios and art agencies。
2. 每个参赛者提交2004-2005间创作的海报作品不得超过三件，参赛作品必须是印刷品，一式两份。
3. 组委会不接受长度大于180CM，小于40CM尺寸的海报作品。
4. 每件海报必须在背后左下角贴上参赛标签。
5. 每位参赛者自行在“第20届波兰华沙国际海报双年展”官方网站下载报名表格，打印随同参赛海报寄送。

6. 所有参赛海报作品不退稿，请自留底稿。
7. 组委会不接受邮寄途中损坏的海报作品，邮寄时请注意使用坚固材料保护作品，组委会不承担对运输途中损失的作品负责。
8. 所有参赛作品必须有电子文件，电子文件请记录于CD，可以是PC或苹果格式，技术规格为：100x150MM，300dpi，CMYK格式，文件类型为TIF或EPS。
9. 邮寄海报作品时，请标注“无商业价值”标签，如无此标注，组委会不承担任何入口关税。
评审：
所有参赛作品将有委员会严格审核评选，入选、获奖者委员会将直接通报。
奖励：
国际评委员将授予每个参赛类别以下奖励：
金奖: 10000 zlotys（波兰货币）
银奖: 6000 zlotys（波兰货币）
铜奖: 4000 zlotys（波兰货币）
评委员奖: 5000 zlotys（波兰货币）
（以下这些信息对我们没有作用，所以就不弄了）A prize awarded for a group is treated as a prize for individual achievement and cannot be multiplied.
The Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw will grant the Jozef Mroszczak Honorary Award to commemorate the founder and first organizer of IPB. The organizers allow other prizes funded by official sponsors and individuals wishing to support the art of poster. All money prizes may be exchanged into foreign currencies according to international law.
The Gold Medals Winners will be invited to the next Biennale Laureates Exhibition to present their poster art output.
All the posters qualified for the competitive exhibition become the property of The Poster Museum at Wilanow.
The organizers have the right to photograph and reprint the works for publicity and promotion of IPB.
